Aiden at 5 months old

If you're a loyal reader to Eleanore's blog (Just Ellabella), these photo's will look oddly familiar.  She is his mom after all :) She blogged them a while back, which makes me very delayed!  Little Aiden is one of the most adorable kids to photograph.  At just 5 months old, he loves burying his head in blankets.  He's just too cute.  He is super curious and has a thing for technology - music from the cellphone especially.

Zealia - 2 years old

My little niece, Zealia, is two years old! And she’ll be very proud to tell you that herself.  Ask her how old she is and she’d tell you two, unsure of how many fingers to keep up.  My sister and I decided to take her to the beach on her birthday.  That is after all her favorite place to be it.  Before we went to the beach though, we went to candy heaven, a shop in the boardwalk (opposite the beach) to get her a big, colorful sweet – it is after all her birthday.

The Smith Family

Wow! What an awesome family to photograph.  Little Kasley is nothing short of adorable and the love between Samantha and her husband, Navian, is amazingly visible.  I had so much fun photographing this family this past weekend.

The Welcome Family

What an awesome family to photograph!  When Stacey contacted me to book me for a shoot for her family, I smiled from ear to ear.  When she mentioned she had two daughters, one of them being a toddler, I became even more excited.  I love photographing toddlers!

Chloe - a tad bit older now

I sometimes feel that Chloe is growing up way too fast.  She's so much bigger and stronger now.  I just can't help myself, but to photograph her as often as I can.  I guess it's the only way I know to "freeze time".

Shaunte

A few days ago, when I decided to abandon my car and walk to my desired destination, I walked passed this field with tall yellow flowers (not sure what one calls them).  I, immediately, thought that it’s a location perfect for a toddler shoot.  Problem was, though, I didn’t have any lined up.  And as I was thinking of all my little nieces & nephews or friend’s kid’s whom I could possibly kidnap for a shoot, Tarryn called.

Chloe

My heart melts when I think about this little bundle of Joy!

Zealia {a little older}

I’ve been trying to photograph Zealia for a while now.  She just get’s cuter by the day.
A few days ago, I was planning to go kidnap her from her house – with her Senobia, mother’s permission of course.  But before I could, her and Senobia came to visit for a few days as it was my best friend, Joy’s, baby shower.

SNEAK PEAK

Super love this shot! It somehow looks like Shaunte is dancing with the sand like it's her skipping rope.  Ok, at least that's how I see it. Unplanned and unedited. love it!

I'm super excited!

1 November 2012, my best friend, Joy, gave birth to this absolutely beautiful little girl!  On the one hand I am so excited for her and her husband, on the other, I feel really sorry for them as they will have to put up with me and my camera for longer than they realize:)

Karate Kids - Ghivarsh and Nishain

Ok, so I haven't been blogging as much as I used to, but I guess that's what happens when ones work starts piling up. Between shooting, editing, admin and life, my blogging has been reduced to one post per week.  So as a treat, I've decided to give you, not one, nor two, but three posts today (ok, I sound like those sales people trying to sell their products.lol).

Ghirvarsh and Nishain are two very much energetic brothers.  They love life and they sure do love playing in it.  Both of them do Karate and seem to be taking it quite seriously.  Guess that's what you do when you love something so much.

My favorite part about this shoot was, without a doubt, when Ghirvash started teaching me to count in Japanese.   I was so excited to show off to Neal when I got home, but not only did I forget how to, but it turned out he already knew how to (show much for showing off.lol).

Enjoy the post :)

Jasmine and her lemon tree

Last weekend, I went to visit a long-time friend of mine that I haven't seen since we both could married (both of us relocated).  I was so surprised to see how much her daughter has grown.  She was already two, speaking and walking properly! How time flies.  Jasmine, her daughter, is so adorable.  She fun, energetic and talkative.  I just wanted to photograph her.  She's the cutest person.

So I asked her mom if we could go take pictures outside, her mom consented so out we went.  Jas and I had so much fun, she even cried when I told her we're done taking photo's (but I gave those pictures to her mom to show her when she's older), it was either that or she cried 'cause she didn't wanna stop playing with her lemons in the water.

Zoey, Mommy and Daddy

Zoey came along when Joy and Melvin had their engagement shoot (she’s their daughter). Fortunately there was a little park outside the coffee shop where we did the shoot, so Zoey kept herself quite entertained. When we were done inside, I just couldn’t resist shooting Zoey, she is my only God-daughter after all. Joy and Melvin soon joined us, so we had a little informal family shoot.

{even though this was shot on the same day as Joy and Melvin’s engagement shoot, I decided to blog them differently as they are of a different nature or catergory}

Zealia

Zealia is awesome.  I had so much fun photographing her with her cute cheeks and her love for laughter.  My camera really takes a liking to her and after a while it became clear that she took a liking to my camera too.  I definitely want to photograph her when she’s a bit older, she’s sure to turn out to be even more adorable.

Shadley

Babies are awesome. Shadley was the very first baby I was privileged to photograph. What a co-operative baby model he was. I don't think i ever realized how much baby language you have to speak whilst photographing a baby.  He’s not very fond of smiling, as you will see, but he sure finds a camera flash fascinating.  Enjoy
