George and Michelle {married}

This was my first wedding for 2013.  What an awesome way to begin this year.  George, an Architect, Lecturer and Musician, and Michelle, a former Psychology Student, got married on the 12th of January in Port Elizabeth.  The ceremony was held at their church, The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, and the reception was held at the beautifully elegant Beach Hotel in Summerstrand.



Although I only met George and Michelle on the actual day of their wedding (all our communication was done via email), I just had a feeling that they're wedding was going to be great.  Now I know I love weddings and I always get excited about the ones I shoot or attend, but I had a special feeling about this one! And with good reason.

This wedding was super awesome! Neal and I felt like one of the guests, even though we were both working all the time.  Everyone was super welcoming and accommodating   I even had a few preconceived ideas destroyed as I learnt about other cultures and the church.

After shooting this wedding, I was reminded why I love wedding photography so much.  It's just the best job in the world.  In fact, I left more energized than I came....and that was awesome!
