Darren and Jeanay

When I asked my cousin, Darren, if we could do our shoot at 7:30, I knew I was taking a fat chance.  If there's one thing Darren loves more than fast cars and his gorgeous girlfriend, Jenay, it's his sleep.  And I was messing with it.



To my surprise, though, Darren agreed.  But he made it a point to show me how red his eyes were on the day of the shoot, due to a lack of sleep.  Jenay, on the other hand, is a morning person, and it showed :)

This shoot was filled with so much laughter and I got to know a side of Darren that I don't get to see very often, a sweeter side, a side that only Jenay could expose.

I absolutely love the end result of these images simply 'cause it captures their love and playfulness better than any words can.  It was so awesome to shoot these two.  And though Darren was a bit hesitant to start the shoot off in Uitenhage's main street, he soon budged and from there they were absolutely great sports.
