What an awesome family to photograph!
Let me start with saying that I really loved photographing
them. When Grace called me to schedule a family shoot, this venue came to
mind. I just love the foresty field and
I knew that spring would add lovely colours to it. I’m quite please with the colour and depth of
field in these images. I definitely have a few favorites here! At first, Kurt
and Grace was a bit hesitant to venture into the bushes, but they quickly
reached a state of ease. Thanx for
trusting me on that one guys! Jordan, on
the other hand, just went wherever I asked her to and made friends with her
surrounding quite fast, but when it was time to photograph her mom and dad
separately Jordan refused to stay with me when I asked her to. Why? Because she
loves her mom and dad of course.
Delivering these photographs was probably the best part of
our shoot. Grace was absolutely
delighted with the end result – every photographer’s cherry on top I wish I still had the sms on my phone (lost
somewhere in memory) that she sent me to tell me how much she loved the
images. I will always remember her final
word in the sms though, “you’re not just a photographer, you’re an artist” *heart smiling moment*
