In a few months my mom will be turning 50. And to celebrate it she's having a party with only 50 guests, or so she says. Thing is my mom has way too many friends to possibly be able to reduce her guest list to 50 friends. But if she's planning to stick to 50, I wish her all the luck in the world.
I'm not entirely sure what her invitation will look like, my graphic designer sister will figure that out shortly. But she did say she wanted to incorporate photo's of herself into the layout of the invites. Hence the reason for this brief photoshoot. For the shoot, we went to Canon Hill, in Uitenhage; my birthplace. Canon Hill is an historic monument commemorating the coronation on King Goerge V. It also serves as an excellent vantage point for the town of Uitenhage.
It's hard to write a blog entry on my mom. What exactly do a say in a few paragraphs to sum this woman up? Is it even possible to say so little and say enough? Where would I even start? She is after all the one responsible for who I am today. So, I think, instead of trying say anything about her at all, I'll just skip onto the photo's, knowing that even this will not do her justice. Yes, she is a Proverbs 31 woman, indeed.
