Patrick and Chardene {married}

I was so excited about photographing this wedding as it was my first wedding in the Northern Cape, in the small town of De Aar.

The entire weekend, it was storming in De Aar.  Chardene was so worried about her wedding, especially since the town’s roads were completely flooded the morning of the wedding.  Somehow I had a peace about it and I managed to convince her to breathe and hope for the best. I kinda had this feeling that it would clear up and it did.  Chardene ended up having a beautiful day, with only mild droplets of rain.

Chardene had arranged with one of the residents for us to do her creative shoot in his garden.  Unfortunately, he said he would go away for the holidays, but she was fine with just using the front part of his garden.  He he was kind enough to let her.

Chardene is such a bubbly person. She absolutely loves laughing and Patrick makes it very easy for her to just that. Chardene en Patrick, ek wens julle ‘n lewe met baie blydskap en vreugde toe.  Geniet mekaar, en geniet die pad voorentoe.
