Theresia and Justin Engaged!

I met this couple at this year's Herald Bridal fair.  Theresia is very laid back and absolutely loves laughing. Justin's laid back too, but he loves making Theresia laugh.

I asked Theresia to email me their engagement story ('cause who can tell it better than the bride). So instead of me telling you how they met, here's Theresia's version of the story...

"Myself and Justin met just under 3 years ago. I (Theresia) am in the churches worship team at Word of Faith and Justin (who use to attend years before I did) started attending church again.

I  (Justin) noticed Theresia and for a while before we eventually spoke at a braai. We started hanging out with the same friends and spent a lot of time as friends together.

I (Theresia) had been waiting on God for a while for the right guy to come a long and I really didn't think Justin was him lol. One day I had a scooter accident that changed everything.  I was without trasnsport  for a whole month and Justin went out of his way to take me everywhere I needed to be.  I thought he wanted something from me, which he didn't and one day God just opened my eyes and I knew Justin was the one.

October the 4th 2010 we decided to see where being together would lead and took it slow. Feb 6th 2012 was the official proposal. 

My birthday (Theresia) is on the 6th of Febuary and I love celebrating it.  This year it fell on a monday and I was super excited because monday nights we have homecell and when it's your birthday, the group prays over you and blesses you for your new year.  So I sat on a chair in the middle and everyone was praying.  All of a sudden, Justin took my hand (bare in mind my eyes are closed) and in front of the family group mentioned that I am a proverbs 31 woman and went on his knee.  All the girls were gasping so I opened my eyes to find my birthday present, the best one ever!!!!"
